we're just not as interesting...

....as cashel to write about but i'll give it a shot. a short shot. well, here we are at the beginning of june which is the end of my school year! yahoo! at teaneck we never got out until the end of june so this is awesome! one more week to go but really, it's already over. here i am, proctoring an exam for a math class. i have nothing tomorrow except to be available to answer questions for my students after 12pm tomorrow because their exam, the last exam of the year, is on friday. so, i'm here friday and will be under a pile of papers, furiously grading to get grades in by 9am on monday morning. i see my kids for 10 minutes per class monday, have a 1 hour meeting on tuesday then graduation on thursday and i'm out! summer here we come! i think i'll appreciate this summer more than past summers. i'm looking forward to cash being in daycare m/w/f so i'll have a little "me time" then he and i get the whole day together t/th. of course, i can pick him up on daycare days or not take him. jason continues to work on the same movie he's been on since december. a surprisingly long stretch for an independent film but he enjoys it enough. we look forward to traveling to kiawah on july 17th for a week then cashel and i stay in nc for 1 week beyond before papa and mimi travel back with us for their first california trip! yahoo! otherwise, i'm taking swim lessons to learn to swim for exercise since my bike was stolen and i have a bum knee and foot and jason enjoys riding his bike. that's our summer i guess. i'll post pics of our adventures!
